The life of Dave

Born in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne he overcame enormous odds to rid himself of a geordie accent by learning French as his first language. On his return to the UK from overseas assignment in Paris at age 5 he settled down to life in Essex.

During his childhood he was involved in all the usual things: football, swimming, chess, caravaning, piano lessons and playing in church bands around Colchester.

Any friends from this time will recall his inability to play more than one note at a time during gigs. They may also remember his sad repretoire of early 90s rave tunes programmed into his keyboard.

After escaping from Essex to become pre-eminent in the London karaoke scene, he married Eugene in 2003 in an attempt to bolster UK-South Korean relations within the LSE alumni community.
